Freeride fans find their challenge at the nearby Dachstein-Gletscher. Countless ski tours, steep descents, ski routes and freerides lead to the Dachstein plateau as well as to Ramsau and Hallstatt. The highlight is the Edelgrieß downhill run, which is one of the most beautiful freeride runs in the Alps and even demanding for excellent skiers. For beginners in the matter of "off-piste" there is the possibility of completing the deep snow pass in Ramsau. They are introduced step by step to the adventure of fresh powder.
