Rittisberg - Ramsau am Dachstein Ski Resort

Trail Map Rittisberg - Ramsau am Dachstein

The Ski Resort

On a sunny plateau below the magnificent Dachstein lies the family-friendly ski region of Ramsau am Dachstein. The extensive winter sports area attracts skiers and snowboarders with its original character and sunny carving pistes. Away from mass tourism, you can enjoy a first-class skiing experience here.

Beginners find an ideal area for the first turns with the wide ski meadows at the foot of the Rittisberg. Of the total of 25 kilometres of slopes, 14 kilometres are marked in blue. The easy downhill runs, mainly in the base area, are ideal for beginners in alpine winter sports. If you are a little more advanced, you should explore the Rittisberg. In the Ramsau ski area you can choose between ten kilometres of medium and one kilometre of difficult slopes.

Children are very welcome here. Together with the mascot Kali, the kids can make their first attempts on skis in the kids areas of the ski schools at the foot of the Rittisberg. But Kali's winter world has even more to offer: the eight different adventure descents are sure to keep them busy!

Freeride fans find their challenge at the nearby Dachstein-Gletscher. Countless ski tours, steep descents, ski routes and freerides lead to the Dachstein plateau as well as to Ramsau and Hallstatt. The highlight is the Edelgrieß downhill run, which is one of the most beautiful freeride runs in the Alps and even demanding for excellent skiers. For beginners in the matter of "off-piste" there is the possibility of completing the deep snow pass in Ramsau. They are introduced step by step to the adventure of fresh powder.

The ski region Ramsau lies in the heart of the 4 mountains of Schladming and Ski amadé. With a ski amadé ski pass you have access to more than 760 km of slopes.
