Achensee Tourismus

Northeast of the lake Achensee, approx. 10 km away from Achenkirch lies Steinberg am Rofan. Here you will find a small ski area with two t-bar lifts and a rope lift. The easy descents are particularly suitable for families and beginners. Advanced winter sports enthusiasts have the opportunity to prove their skills on the training course.

For those who are not satisfied with the 1,000 m of slopes, there are four more ski areas around the Achensee: the Karwendel mountain railway in Pertisau, the Christlum lifts in Achenkirch, the Rofanseilbahn Maurach and the lifts in Wiesing. In total, the Achensee ski region boasts 54 km of slopes.
