Royal Mountain Ski Resort

Royal Mountain is a lovely family ski area located at the Adirondack Mountains in New York State. It only takes you about an hour to get there from the cities Alabany and Utica.  Royal Mountain has improved its snowmaking system and can now cover 95% of the entire terrain of 14 hectares with man made snow in case nature isn´t willing to treat us with enough snow. The amount of beginner, intermediate and expert trails is fairly balanced. Everyone will find trails that match their ability level! In addition, there is a Terrain Park available where freestylers can practice and improve on their skills. Of course, you can also get some lessons at Royal Mountain. There is no appointment necessary. Just walk in and and instructor will teach you the proper techniques. However, the first and foremost aim is to have plenty of fun in the snow! Locals can participate in a 7 week beginner program or a 5 week intermediate/advanced program. Become a confident skier or rider in a blink!
