The Ski Resort
Seven ski lifts await winter sports enthusiasts in the Sachrang district of Aschau. The area, with its three kilometres of slopes, is ideal for beginners, beginners and families. The Sachrang Ski School offers courses for beginners and advanced skiers.
The Kaiserblick lifts are located at the south-western end of the village. The 600 metre long double tow lift "Kaiserblick" and the 90 metre long rope lift "Zwergerlschlepper" are particularly popular with children. Here you can learn to ski in peace and quiet. Next to the dwarf tractor there is also a sledging hill. The Kaiserblick Stube with its tiled stove provides catering for winter sports enthusiasts.
The Schweiberer lifts, two small tow lifts with a length of 200 metres each, are located at the end of the village towards Schweibern. Furthermore there are the Aumüller-Lifts at the southern exit of Sachrang at the Gasthof Müllner-Alm. Two small tow lifts of 250 and 285 metres in length are available here. There is also a 90 metre long children's lift.
Interesting facts
- The vertical drop from summit to base is 111 m. The average difference in altitude between base and summit of Ski Resorts in Germany is 214 m. Runs and slopes are therefore relatively short. The highest point of the track is 850 m above sea level.
- Average snow depth during the season is 22 cm at summit elevation and 18 cm at base elevation. Snow coverage is usually best during February, offering an average snow depth of 40 cm at summit elevation and 41 cm at the base.

By car:
Coming from Kufstein you reach the skiing area Sachrang via the B 175. Via Oberndorf and Ebbs you reach Germany. Shortly after the border crossing turn left into the village street of Sachrang and follow the signs to the ski lifts.
Coming from Munich, take the A8 towards Salzburg. Leave the motorway at the Frasdorf exit and follow the signs for Sachrang.
