The Ski Resort
Sapphire Valley Ski Resort is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina and blongs to the Sapphire Valley Four Season Resort. It is one of the southern most ski areas. Built in 1964 it is also one of the oldest! It offers families a great learning experience where parking and all amenities are within an easy walk.
It´s main run totals almost 490 meters. It is a beginner/intermediate run and therefore offers best conditions for children and first-timers. Get some lessons taught by experienced instructors. They will do their best to make you a confident skier or rider. In addition, you should pay a visit to Frozen Falls Tubing Park! It is fun for the entire family and there is no experience necessary. Just vault yourself on your tube and slide down the hill!
