The Ski Resort
In the Schanze district near Schmallenberg you will find two lifts (double anchor and ski school lift) and a total of 1 km of blue slopes for skiing and snowboarding. The winter sports area lies at an altitude of 640 to 720 metres.
If the weather and snow conditions are suitable, the lift is open on Fridays from 13 to 17.30 hrs and on weekends and holidays from 9 to 17.30 hrs. Since there is no floodlight, the end is also determined by the sunset and the lift operation can be stopped earlier in December and January.
