The Ski Resort
In Turnau in Hochsteiermark you will find the ski resort Schwabenbergarena. It has three lifts and four slopes for all levels of ability. Slope "Kohlwiesenpiste" next to plate lift "Kohlwiesen" is ideal for beginners and children. If you already have a little more practice, you can ski to the highest point of the ski area on T-bar lifts "Schwabenberg I and II". Back down into the valley, you can take the red marked panorama track or the black marked FIS race track. The latter also offers ideal training possibilities.

By car winter sports enthusiasts reach Turnau via the S35 in approx. 1 hour. In Bruck an der Mur you change to the S6 to St. Marein im Mürztal. Then take the L123 to Turnau.
With public transport the journey from Graz to Turnau takes about 2 hours. Take the S1 to Bruck an der Mur, from where you take the bus to Turnau.
