Trail Map Schwarzsee Riggisalp Kaiseregg

The Ski Resort

The ski resort Schwarzsee, that stretches across the Riggisalp and Kaiseregg is considered to be ideal for families with amazing offers for young and old. Altogether features the resort 22 kilometer (13,6 miles) for winter athletes. 12 kilometer(7,4 miles) are more descend and marked blue. That doesn´t mean that intermediate skiers and boarders have to miss out (7 kilometers=4,3 miles are red) and one trail is even so challenging that it´s for experts only.  Seven lifts service the trails in order to get the skiers right back up the mountain. Even if mother nature isn´t willing to treat the area with snow it´s pretty snow sure due to the snow cannons. Beginners may attend skiing and snowboarding lessons to expand on their abilities. It´s the local ski school´s aim to recognize each individual´s special needs and unique style. Boarder and freestyler can go crazy in the terrain parks. One of the highlights is the night skiing on the Riggisalp or in Rohr with cheese fondue afterwards.
