The Ski Resort
The ski area in Mieders offers excellently groomed pistes in both wooded and sunny locations. The wonderfully wide pistes and varying degrees of difficulty guarantee that everyone gets their money's worth, from beginners to professionals and from carvers to snowboarders. Outdoor fans will enjoy the deep snow and firn conditions!
The 8-seater gondola lift takes winter sports enthusiasts to the 1,600 metre high Koppeneck. From there it goes over a 3.5 km long run back to Mieders or over the slope "Waldrasteck" to the drag lifts "Waldrasteck" and "Ochsenhütte".
At the base station you will find the kids area King Serli, a beginner's area separated from the rest of the slopes, with the "Lärchenlift" and a magic carpet, offering the best conditions for your first attempts on the boards.
From the 2,717 metre high Serles, winter sports enthusiasts also receive a unique panoramic view as far as Innsbruck and the Karwendel behind it. The summit also offers a magnificent view of the Stubai and Zillertal Alps.

- The vertical drop from summit to base is 714 m. The average difference in altitude between base and summit of Ski Resorts in Austria is 720 m. The highest point of the track is 1,674 m above sea level.
- Average snow depth during the season is 82 cm at summit elevation and 39 cm at base elevation. Snow coverage is usually best during February, offering an average snow depth of 89 cm at summit elevation and 44 cm at the base.
- Serlesbahnen Mieders features 43 sunny days on average per season. The average for all ski Resorts in Austria is 37 sunny days. January is the sunniest month with an average of 15 sunny days.

On Mountain Dining
Numerous restaurants and huts in the Mieders ski area invite you to take a break. The Berggasthaus Koppeneck is located directly at the mountain station of the Serles lifts. The view of the surrounding mountain landscape can be enjoyed particularly well from its sun terrace at 1,600 metres.
Directly next to the Ochsenlift and the winter hiking trail, the rustic Ochsenhütte attracts visitors with Tyrolean delicacies and regional specialities.

Activities
There is also a lot on offer for visitors in Mieders off the slopes. Cross-country skiers may look forward to Tyrol's highest xc-track. The trail is five kilometres long and accessible via Matrei am Brenner and is also suitable for beginners
There are also numerous winter hiking trails to explore the landscape. The Alpengasthaus Gleinserhof can be reached after a 1 hour hike from the top station of the Serles cable car or from Schönberg. Back to the valley you can sled on the 4 km long, illuminated natural toboggan run.
Another 7.6 km long sledding track leads directly from the Serlesbahn top station to the base station in Mieders. Every Tuesday and Friday the runway is open from 19 to 20:30 and offers the possibility to toboggan at night. In addition, a hiking trail leads from the top station to the Sonnenstein Inn, where the 8-kilometre-long toboggan run to Fulpmes starts.
The highest place of pilgrimage in Austria, Maria Waldrast, can be reached from the top station via a winter hiking trail or by car from Matrei. The monastery restaurant provides visitors with food and drinks and has a large sun terrace. From there a 4 km long toboggan run leads back into the valley to Matrei.

You can end your ski day in the Pfiff-Bar. Après-Ski-Music sounds in the Schirmbar, which is located directly at the base station of the Serlesbahn.

Mieders is the first village in the Tyrolean Stubai valley.
From Germany you can reach Mieders via the A 12 towards Innsbruck. In Innsbruck take the A 13 in the direction of Brenner/Italy and leave the motorway at the Schönberg/Stubaital exit. Then follow the signs to Mieders.
From Italy take the direction Brenner/Austria and follow the A 13 to the main toll station in Schönberg. There you take the first exit (Exit 13) and turn right onto the main road towards Mieders.
