A day pass for the Sexten Dolomites costs 48 euros (correct as of March 2016). Compared with the other ski areas in the region, this is rather on the high side. However, you certainly get plenty of “bang for your buck”. The Sexten Dolomites offer state-of-the-art lifts, very good grooming services and priceless panoramic views of the Drei Zinnen peaks. In addition, the ski pass is also valid for the other lifts in the valley – such as at Haunold or in Rienz and Prags.
Other plus points include free parking at the valley stations and free services, such as the avalanche practice area at the Stiergarten or guided “Giro delle Cime” tour which visitors can enjoy with a qualified instructor. As a result, we believe the ski area deservedly earns eight points in this category.
