The Ski Resort
The Sierra de Béjar - La Covatilla ski area is located in the province of Salamanca about 200 km west of the Spanish capital Madrid. The gentle hills are particularly suitable for beginners and families. However, the large number of red-marked slopes makes the ski area just as attractive for advanced skiers. There are 24 runs in total, 13 of which are marked red. Sierra de Béjar - La Covatilla also has eight blue runs and three practice runs in the beginners' area.
All the blue runs and some of the red runs can be reached by chairlift. Those who want to use the large network of red marked slopes, use the final T-bar lift to Canchal Negro (2369 m). The pistes are interlinked in such a way that there are many possible variations and there is no chance of getting bored. Next to slope no. 11 there is also a snowpark with 15 features in all levels of difficulty. From rails to kickers to wall rides, everything is on offer there. Young skiers can try their first turns in the practice area in the valley area. There are three ski lifts here.
