The Ski Resort
The Simas Lifte ski resort is located in the Vienna Alps in Lower Austria. A drag lift transports winter sports enthusiasts from the 941-metre-high valley station to the 1,027-metre-high mountain station at Kampstein. From there you go left and right of the drag lift on the 1.8 km long pistes "Sommerbauer-Riegl", "Simas-Feld" and "Schiclub-Hang" down the valley.
The area of the Simas lifts attracts with a closed off race track area at the mountain station next to the slope Sommerbauer-Riegl. From the Sumpihittn you can watch the racers and sunbathe in the deck chairs.
In the middle of the skiing area, a snowboard fun park with 8 obstacles awaits adrenaline fans, including a kicker with a table of 5 metres. A separate ascent aid for the drag lift allows you to reach the lift even faster.
If you prefer to be a little safer on the boards, you can practice changing boards in the neighbouring family village of St. Corona. The Kampstein area also offers snowshoeing and ski touring.
Snow Safety & Snowmaking
A snow-making pond and 11 snow cannons as well as 13 snow-making lances ensure sufficient snow conditions in the area.
On Mountain Dining
The Simas hut at the lift car park and the Sumpihittn at the mountain station invite you to a cosy stop. Here you can rest and fortify yourself for the next descent.
