The Ski Resort
In Simmersfeld, three T-bar lifts ensure convenient transport up the mountain. With four pistes (1, 3, 4, 6) and two forest descents (2, 5) of the mainly blue category, the ski area is particularly suitable for families and beginners. Especially the easy slopes at Lift I are perfect for beginners. The descents at Lift II are somewhat more demanding. The most difficult slopes are at Lift III, which is the longest lift in Simmersfeld with a length of 550 metres.
Lift III is equipped with floodlights, so that in suitable winter weather it is possible to ski daily at night until 10 pm. The other two lifts close at 5:30. Monday to Friday only the lifts I and III are in operation (from 13 o'clock). On weekends, public holidays and school holidays the lifts run from 9 am.
On Mountain Dining
On weekends, public holidays and school holidays, the ski snack bar at the top station of Lift III will take care of your physical well-being. Here you can get Bratwurst, Currywurst and French fries as well as cold drinks. If you want to warm up, order punch, hot chocolate, coffee or mulled wine.
Nightskiing
Activities
If you still don't have enough snow after skiing, you have to unbuckle your skis and get on your sled. Next to Lift I is the 250-metre-long toboggan run. It is marked No. 7 on the map.
