The Ski Resort
The ski resort is located in the Araucanía region, just a few kilometres from the city of Pucón. It has seven ski lifts and 20 ski runs that are suitable for all levels. The majority of the slopes are classified as easy. Families and beginners will find this area particularly appealing. Pucón ski resort also has a lot to offer in terms of scenery, featuring 30 kilometers of slopes on the "Villarica" volcano.
While the ski area is one of the most modern in the south of Chile, the lifts run rather slowly here. The area scores points for its beautiful scenery and natural surroundings. From the slopes, you have a view of the lake "Lago Villarica" and the volcano. Due to the distinct shape of the lava rock, there are a number of natural half pipes, which are very popular with freeriders and snowboarders.
There is a restaurant, cafeteria and bar to cater for your physical well-being. There is also a mini club for children. There is a ski and snowboard rental on site. There is also an international ski school with qualified instructors.
