The Ski Resort
The ski lift Friedenweiler in the Hochschwarzwald is ideal for beginners in winter sports. Beginners and families with children feel particularly at home on this ski slope. The easy, approx. 320 meter long runway is suitable wonderfully for the first attempts on the boards.
The lift is open Monday to Friday from 14 to 16:30. It is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends, public holidays and holidays.
Interesting facts
- The vertical drop from summit to base is 30 m. The average difference in altitude between base and summit of Ski Resorts in Germany is 214 m. Runs and slopes are therefore relatively short. The highest point of the track is 930 m above sea level.
- Snow coverage is usually best during February, offering an average snow depth of 25 cm at summit elevation and 6 cm at the base.

Activities
On the left side of the lift there is a short toboggan run. Several winter hiking trails with a total length of 12 km invite you to discover the winter landscape and cross-country trails in classic and skating style await cross-country skiing fans in the region.
Getting here
The Friedenweiler ski lift can be reached from Freiburg in about 45 minutes via the B31. In Titisee-Neustadt change to the L172 and follow the signs to Friedenweiler. The ski lift is located north of the outdoor pool.
By public transport it takes about 1 hour to get to ½ The train runs from Freiburg to Titisee-Neustadt. From there there is a bus to Friedenweiler.
