The Ski Resort
Sljeme (Medvednica) ski resort is situated just a few miles outside of Zagreb, Croatia's capital city. The resort mainly accomodates visitors from the capital, but occasionally tourists find their way there too. The resort is located at the foot of Medvednica mountain. It is part of the homonymous nature park spanning over 228 square kilometres (around 22,800 ha).
There is only one black run (Crveni Spust), regularly used as a FIS World Cup venue. Moreover, there are two intermediate runs, Bijela Livada and Bijeli Spust as well as two intermediate runs, Zeleni Spust and Plavi Spust.

- The highest point of the track is 1,030 m above sea level.
- Average snow depth during the season is 40 cm at summit elevation and 20 cm at base elevation. Snow coverage is usually best during January, offering an average snow depth of 40 cm at summit elevation and 20 cm at the base.

On Mountain Dining
Sljeme is home to two dining and accomodation facilities. Hotel Tomislav dom is located at the resort's west, offering plain Croation dishes. Snjeszna kraljica offers tourist flats.

Sljeme ski resort is located at the foot of Medvednica moutain, north west of Croatian capital Zagreb. From the centre, follow Ksaverska cesta for about 20 minutes, turn right and then left onto Bliznec. Follow this street to get to the ski resort.
