The Ski Resort
The ski lift Stützengrün is located in the western Erzgebirge and is operated by the Skiverein Stützengrün Erzgebirge e.V. (ski club Stützengrün Erzgebirge e.V.). A drag lift transports winter sports enthusiasts to an altitude of 640 metres. From here, a 400-metre-long ski run marked in blue leads back to the valley station. Due to its manageability, the ski area is particularly suitable for beginners and families with children.
With the exception of the holidays, the lift is only open from Friday to Sunday. On Fridays, skiers have the opportunity to go night skiing at the Stützengrün ski lift from 5 pm to 9 pm. Saturday and Sunday is from 9.30 to 17 o'clock ski operation. In the Feri9en is then daily ski operation.

- The day pass at Stützengrün is €4 making it one of the 3 cheapest ski Resorts in Germany.
- Snow coverage is usually best during January, offering an average base depth of 1 cm.

By car
From Zwickau you can reach Stützengrün via the new feeder road S282. Take the S282 to the Hartmannsdorf / Rothenkirchen exit, continue to Rothenkirchen / Lichtenau, continue to the B169. Finally follow the B169 to Stützengrün.
Stützengrün at the B169, at the large crossing at the church/cemetery turn off in the direction of the ski lift/Freibad/Gh. Stollmühle. Follow 1,5km road course and signage - follow the one-way streets at the lift!
