The Ski Resort
Terry Peak Ski Area is located near Deadwood in the Black Hills of South Dakota and is one of the leading ski areas in the state. It features more than 180 hectares of skiable terrain. Its variety promises winter fun for everyone from beginner to expert. The trails are serviced by 4 chair lifts that converge on top of the mountain so finding your group or family is easy at Terry Peak.
Lessons are available at the Learning Center located at Stewart Lodge where you will aso find the cafeteria, rental shop and retail store. The Learning Center offers a variety of kid´s ski and snowboard lessons as well as adult beginner lessons. In addition, there are also Mountain Challenge lessons available for experienced skiers and riders that give you the opportunity to refine your skills.
Furthermore, there is a terrain park located on Snow Storm. Explore jumps, bumps and rails and expand on your skills!
