The Ski Resort
The small ski area of the Schneeberg-Hager lifts on the Mitterland plateau above Lake Thiersee is both manageable and varied. There are 3 lifts and 4 kilometres of pistes for winter sports enthusiasts.
The blue and easy pistes for beginners are located at the Hager lift (length 420 metres) and the practice lift (160 metres). With the 1250 m long Schneeberg lift you can reach the highest point of the small ski area and from there you can take the red slopes down into the valley. If you are brave enough, you can also try the short stretch of the black marked downhill run.
For small children and newcomers there is plenty to do in the children's area, including a ski carousel.
