With almost 15km/9mi of slopes, Voras Kaimaktsalan is amont the lartest ski resorts in Greece. It is located in Central Macedonia, and boasts runs of various degrees of difficulty, which makes it suitable for families as well. There are 5 ski lifts in the resort, taking you from the base at 2,030m/6,660ft to the top at 2,480m/8,136ft above sea level.

Getting here
The ski resort is a 2 hours' drive away from Thessaloniki. You can get there via EO2, which you follow for 60km/37mi. At Mavrovouni, turn right and follow the signs to Aridaia. After 15km/9mi, turn left and follow the signs to Edessa. Continue via Margarita and Kerasies until you get to the ski resort.
