The Ski Resort
Vrchlabi ski area is located amidst the Giant Mountains only about 10 minutes away by foot from the historic town of Vrchlabi. All in all the ski area offers 8.2 kilometers of trails of the easiest and intermediate category. Thus, Vrchlabi is most recommendable for families and beginners. Its gentle slopes do not demand too much and thanks to its small size no one gets lost.
There is snowmaking on all trails and they are groomed everyday. In addition, there is a ski school offering different programs for ski and snowboard. Here you can learn from a real Olympia attendee! The ski school is run by Lenka Kebrlová-Barešová, who was fifth at downshill skiing in Calgary 1988.
If you need some refreshment you will find a great variety of foods and drinks at Imlauf restaurant. Nordic Skiers also have access to 10 km of trails.
