The Ski Resort
The Oberberg ski area is situated at an altitude of 800 metres in the municipality of Weiler-Simmerberg in Allgäu. The lift facility is the ideal terrain for beginners and families. The little ones have their first skiing experiences at the Pinocchio practice lift. To support the success on the "2-boards", there is the possibility to book a ski course. The ski school from the neighbouring village of Lindenberg also looks after the ski resort. The rental is on site.
The fun park with kickers and rails, like a Rainbow-Rail makes the heart of every freestyler beat faster. For a varied snow day there is a toboggan run and a direct access to the cross-country ski run network "Westallgäu". And if you want to take a break, you will find "Claudias Einkehrstüble" at the base station.
Interesting facts
- The vertical drop from summit to base is 120 m. The average difference in altitude between base and summit of Ski Resorts in Germany is 214 m. Runs and slopes are therefore relatively short. The ski resort takes you to an elevation of 875 m.

More than 50 km of cross-country ski runs in the immediate vicinity of the village are available to cross-country skiing fans. In addition, there is a cross-country ski trail network with the neighbouring communities to the super trail - "From Waldsee to Alpsee".
