Nestled between Stubwies, Rote Wand and Warscheneck lies the idyllic ski area on the Wurzeralm, not far from Spital am Pyhrn in Upper Austria. 22 kilometres of pistes are available here.

The direct motorway access guarantees a quick and convenient journey. The funicular railway takes you to the ski area at 1400 metres in no time. A total of seven other lifts then take you to the most idyllic spots on the Wurzeralm. Wonderful descents of all levels of difficulty await you here, although pistes for experienced skiers are few and far between.

Nevertheless, the Wurzeralm also has its attractions for experienced skiers, including two black-marked pistes and a large freeride paradise on the Frauenkar. Several remote, unprepared slopes await there.

The Wurzeralm is a dream, especially for beginners and families with small children. The Linzerhaus lift and the Junior Jet T-bar lift offer beginners easy practice slopes that are easy to reach. In addition, 10 kilometres of blue-marked pistes ensure that even inexperienced skiers can have fun. There is also the popular Sunny Kids Park for the little ones on the Wurzeralm.
