The Ski Resort
Yawgoo is a little ski area in the state of Rhode Island. On a total skiable terrain of 12 hectares it offers 15 trails for all ability levels. The area´s snowmaking system is capable of blanketing the entire are with manmade snow. Thus, even if you won´t find any snow in your backyard you can ski at Yawgoo! Yawgoo is a great place to learn to ski and ride. There is a special novice area available and the Ski School offers group lessons for ski and snowboard. Yawgoo Valley Snow Sports Center is a member of the Eastern Professional Ski Instrcutors of America. Thus, you´ll always get the best instrcution possible. Yawgoo´s instructors will help you to master the snow while always having your fun in mind! There is also a terrain park available at Yawgoo that´ll make snowboarders happy! Last but not least a snowtubing park isn´t missing, either. It is serviced by 2 surface lift so you don´t have to hike back up. Just get a tube, get on the hill, choose a chute and off you go! All in all Yawgoo offers great winter fun for the entire family at affordable prices which makes it the perfect ski area for families!

- Snow coverage is usually best during February, offering an average snow depth of 79 cm at summit elevation and 29 cm at the base.
