For some time now, Georgia has been a trending destination for snow sports enthusiasts. Unlike alpine ski resorts, accommodation and ski passes here are relatively affordable. Additionally, the Caucasus Mountains offer excellent snow reliability and stunning slopes with breathtaking panoramas.
Georgia's best-known ski resort is Gudauri, located at elevations ranging from 2,200 to 3,000 meters. With approximately 76 kilometers of slopes, it is the country's largest ski resort, and also offers heli-skiing opportunities. Other notable winter sports destinations include Bakuriani, Mestia (Hatsvali and Tetnuldi ski areas) and Goderdzi.
