If you want to ski in Great Britain and Northern Ireland, you have to go to the Scottish Highlands. Unique natural landscapes, open pistes in small but fine ski areas and reasonable prices make Scotland particularly attractive as a winter holiday destination.
One of Scotland's best-known ski resorts is Glenshee, which has 40 kilometres of pistes and is particularly attractive to experienced skiers with its black slopes. But the winter sports area in the Cairngorm Mountains is even more challenging. The Glencoe ski resort, on the other hand, offers breathtaking views.
