Product Summary
Due to its lighweight construction the Head Crux 87 is easy to handle not only downhill but also during longer ascents. The Head Crux 87's full retail price is €960. The Ski costs roughly €330 more than the average price of all Backcountry Touring Skis, making it a real luxury Ski. The ski is very smooth and forgiving. It's the perfect tool for intermediate skiers. The Crux 87 is a pure freeride ski. Riding on groomers is no problem but due to its fairly wide waist the ski has a strong bias towards powder runs. The ski is available from 149 to 184cm.
The ski in details
A highly accessible touring ski, the Crux 87 is perfect for skinning up and skiing down inbounds since weight and performance are HEAD's highest priority.
Weight and performance are the highest priority. Thanks to light but strong properties of Graphene added to the poplar wood core, the Crux 87 is easy to handle on the hike up. For the descent, HEAD’s LYT Tech construction ensures control and stability in both long and short turns.
