Stöckli Laser CX (Slalom Ski 2024/2025)

Product Summary

The Stöckli Laser CX's full retail price is € 1,099. The Ski costs roughly € 280 more than the average price of all Slalom Skis, making it a real luxury Ski. Effortless to ride at all speeds, this ski is just right for all intermediate skiers. This Slalom Ski definitely prefers groomers to powder runs. It is designed for perfect edge hold on-piste. Available lengths for the ski are ranging between 149 and 177cm. With a radius ranging from only 10.50 m to 15.40 m this ski is perfect for short turns and aggressive carving action.

The ski in details

The Laser CX is agile, lightweight and playful. This forgiving slalom ski inherits many attributes from the Laser SL but requires less effort to ride.

Dynamic edge changes are just as effortless as smoothly carved turns, all thanks to its lightweight construction and the new Turtle 2.0 technology. The choice is yours – a sporty slalom ski with a performance-oriented plate and binding, or an easy cruising ski with a comfortable set-up. Either way, this ski offers you incredible enjoyment on the slopes from early morning to après-ski.

Technologies

Light Core & Super Light Core
Particularly light European wood species are deployed in the all-mountain, freeride/off-piste and touring segments. This makes the core a little softer and suppler, which lends the ski dynamism and makes it very durable.

  • Reduced weight due to ultralight cores
  • Dynamic ski response
  • Very durable

Solid Metal Edge Light
Same edge width as the SME. A modified die-cutting procedure, however, means the edge is inserted less deeply into the ski, which saves weight.

  • Longer service life
  • Reduced susceptibility to damage
  • More grinding possible

Turtle Grip
New surfaces on Laser X models. Slightly nubby texture creates a matte/shiny surface that imparts an elegant look to the design. The top graphics layer is also rugged.

  • Nicer feel
  • A real eye-catcher

Adaptive Contact Length
The widest point on the shovel is set further forward. Together with a slight rocker (more gradual up-bend of the shovel), the more the ski is tilted, the further forward the contact point of the edge with the snow moves. This preserves its nimble characteristics without sacrificing stability and grip during the turn.

  • The greater the tilt, the higher the stability and sense of security
  • Playful and good-natured at lesser tilt angles

Tail Rocker
Rocker: A longer rocker at the tail with a flatter radius.

  • With the longer, extended rocker, the edge in contact with the snow is decreased, making the ski more playful.
  • The longer rocker enables optimum grip when edging.

Turtle Shell
The cut-outs in the Titanal lend torsion neutrality and effortless skiing at a low speed on easy slopes. At higher tempos and rough slopes the Titanal cutouts interlock. With these cut-outs, the ski is more stable, smoother, and thus lends more security.

  • Torsionally neutral and smooth at leisurely paces and on simple slopes.
  • Athletic and stable at higher tempos on rougher slopes.
