Stöckli Stormrider 102 (Powder Ski 2024/2025)

Product Summary

The Stöckli Stormrider 102's full retail price is €1,099. The Ski costs roughly €430 more than the average price of all Powder Skis, making it a real luxury Ski. This ski is just right for good skiers. Stable but not overpowering. The Stormrider 102 is a pure freeride ski. Riding on groomers is no problem but due to its fairly wide waist the ski has a strong bias towards powder runs. The ski is available from 173 to 191cm. This ski is a real cruiser and loves long turns. With a radius from 17.40 m to 22.30 m (depending on the lengh of the ski) you shouldn't expect too much in short turns.

The ski in details

The Stormrider 102 impresses with excellent lift and manoeuvrability in deep snow thanks to the large powder rocker and special freeride tail.

The integrated TITEC double Titanal gives it the stability you need when things get rough. Whether gliding leisurely through snowy winter terrain or at full throttle through the couloir – the Stormrider 102 is your ski for unforgettable freeride adventures.

Technologies

Light Core & Super Light Core
Particularly light European wood species are deployed in the all-mountain, freeride/off-piste and touring segments. This makes the core a little softer and suppler, which lends the ski dynamism and makes it very durable.

  • Reduced weight due to ultralight cores
  • Dynamic ski response
  • Very durable

Solid Metal Edge Light
Same edge width as the SME. A modified die-cutting procedure, however, means the edge is inserted less deeply into the ski, which saves weight.

  • Longer service life
  • Reduced susceptibility to damage
  • More grinding possible

Polywall
This sidewall is slightly softer and therefore more elastic than the phenolic sidewall. It exhibits damping properties and thus boasts significantly higher impact resistance.

  • Highly robust
  • High impact resistance
  • Damping properties

Freeride Tip Technology
Light, stiff insert material at the tip makes the shovel more stable and less jittery. This light Freeride Tip material helps generate more lift in deep snow.

  • Improved lift with lower swing weight and more stable shovel
  • Easy, effortless skiing in all snow conditions

Freeride Tail
Special tail area. The use of a high-tech polymer in combination with a new rocker angle results in the tail being both lighter and softer. The ski is even more responsive and maneuverable as a consequence.

  • Reduced weight
  • Playful and nimble

Titanal Technology Pro
An additional protective coating featuring a slightly raised structure is applied to the Titanal surface. This affords the ski better protection from scratches on the top surface and gives it a special haptic.

  • Enhanced scratch resistance
  • Agreeable haptic
  • Optical effect
  • Reduced weight, as the graphics are printed directly on the Titanal

Big Powder Rocker
The height (20 mm) and length (60 mm) of this rocker are designed for powder adventures. It gives the ski plenty of lift and top maneuverability. For playful and effortless skiing in deep snow.

  • Optimum float
  • Energy-saving skiing in deep powder
  • Better control
