The revelation – agile all-mountain skiing redefined

The Deacon 74 redefines the way you experience the slopes. It unites an competitive with a playful concept and allows you to ski super-agile and tight turns with maximum creativity. The 3D.Glass construction with Speedwall multilayer wood core, full Titanal and a P-Tex 4504 base is rounded off by a full sidewall. The UVO 3D absorbs vibrations to make for an incredibly smooth ride.

The pre-mounted rMotion2 binding with GripWalk provides the required power transfer on the 74 mm tip and tail rocker.

The Deacon 74 is available in the colours teal and black.

rMotion2 GW: rMotion2 GW with significantly improved transfer of power and easier ski control. The race-oriented rMotion2 GW is a complete system whose significantly lighter race plate ensures optimal flex and grip. 

UVO 3D: UVO is the first freely rotating, vibration damper to apply cutting-edge vibration dampening technology in order to minimize disruptive ski vibration. The terrain below the ski inevitably generates vibrations, which in turn set the shovel into motion. This significantly disrupts the smoothness of the ski-ride, and makes it harder to hold an edge. The revolutionary UVO technology works against this, through proven dampening in the form of reduced vibrations in the horizontal and vertical directions as well as along the length of the ski.

3D.GLASS: Völkl’s development to furthermore improve overall ski performance and stability even in critical snow conditions. Compared to classic glass constructions the three-dimensional and multiple-folded glass layers in the tip and in the tail area result in an increased edge grip and a more vivid rebound behavior in turns.

Speedwall Multilayer Woodcore: The side wall is laminated to extremely stable layers of wood on the sides of the sandwich core. In combination with a more flexible, lighter wood built into the center of the sandwich core construction provides numerous advantages.

Full Titanal: The titanium setup makes the ski agile and dynamic. Especially friends of a hard, fast and aggressive riding style benefit from the quick response of this construction.
