The ski in details
High-tech all-mountain racer with outstanding versatility
If you’re looking for outstanding performance and maximum radius variability, the Peregrine 72 Master is the ski for you. The Peregrine 72 Master with tip and tail rocker offers riders a completely advanced level of direct steering and super-fast tip response. With an ash core, two layers of Titanal with 3D.Glass and a tailored carbon tip, this ski is packed with the collective expertise of Völkl’s engineers. The tailored carbon tip produces an extremely direct and reliable tip response. The carbon fibres are positioned differently on each model and laid down at particular angles, which allows each length of ski to be tuned precisely to the needs of a highly ambitious, aggressive yet effortless riding style. The Peregrine 72 Master is available in lengths of 168cm, 173 cm and 178 cm and offers a highly competitive but at the same time playful skiing experience at primarily medium till short radii.
Technologies
WorldCup Ash Woodcore
The high-quality core made of solid ash, which extends over the entire length of the ski, is a technical highlight that has great impact on the skiing characteristics.
Tailored Carbon Tips
In this innovative manufacturing process the new Tailored Carbon Tips are produced by embroidering the individual carbon fibers onto a carrier material. This allows them to be positioned exactly along the stress lines, opening up completely new possibilities, for performance at the front of the ski, which has a decisive influence on the handling of the ski.
Full Titanal
The titanium setup makes the ski agile and dynamic. Especially friends of a hard, fast and aggressive riding style benefit from the quick response of this construction.
Full Sidewall ABS
ABS is a durable and resilient plastic known for its strength and impact resistance. It offers high resistance to shocks and impacts, making the ski more robust and long-lasting. These sidewalls allow for precise power transfer from the skier to the edges of the ski.
3D.GLASS
Compared to classic glass constructions the three-dimensional and multiple-folded glass layers in the tip and in the tail area result in an increased edge grip and a more vivid rebound behavior in turns.
Base P-Tex 4504
A sintered, ultra-high molecular polyethylene base with an extremely high density.
Tip & Tail Rocker
Bends up only in the shovel and tail zones, with a camber shape in the middle
Marker WorldCup Plate
High-speed racing like the pros. Thanks to Piston Control, an integrated hydraulic oil piston, even the smallest bit of energy is converted into speed. Of course the interface is compatible with the Race X-cell bindings.
