Pure world cup materials meet intuitive geometry
Equipped with a world cup ash woodcore, phenol sidewalls, tailored carbon tips, two layers of full Titanal and a carbon band he got a much needed upgrade in terms of sportiness, dynamic and smoothness and is equipped with the best materials and technologies that ski construction currently has to offer. A highlight is the combined use from phenol sidewalls and the carbon band in a high complex construction. The phenol sidewall give the ski an unpresedented smoothness and edge precision. The carbon band from tip to tail in the center of the ski helps in the other direction and make the ski more lively and dynamicly. This material combination is responsible what pure calmness and highest dynamic isn`t longer a contradiction. Additionally to the Carbon Band this ski is for sure equipped with Völkl´s taylored carbon tips. A new positioning and length dimension of the carbon fibers in the tip gives the ski an even more direct tip answer and a faster bending and energy build up process in the first part of the ski. This allows the world cup ash woodcore to demonstrate even more of its qualities as energy store and dynamic booster. As the ski bends at the entrance to the curve, the fibers stretch, absorb the tension energy and store it. At the exit of the curve, this collected energy is then released in a controlled manner, giving the ski enormous dynamics. Tailored Carbon Tips
In this innovative manufacturing process the new Tailored Carbon Tips are produced by embroidering the individual carbon fibers onto a carrier material. This allows them to be positioned exactly along the stress lines, opening up completely new possibilities, for performance at the front of the ski, which has a decisive influence on the handling of the ski.
Base P-Tex 4504
A sintered, ultra-high molecular polyethylene base with an extremely high density. Besides a great wear resistance and perfect wax absorption the P-Tex 4504 is extremely fast and exclusively used on Völkl´s top of the line and race models. The material has been upgraded with special additives to make it thermal and electro-conductive and proves its qualities with premium glide and maximum speed in races.
3D.GLASS
Compared to classic glass constructions the three-dimensional and multiple-folded glass layers in the tip and in the tail area result in an increased edge grip and a more vivid rebound behavior in turns.
Full Sidewall Phenol
The special surface structure in combination with the material composition reduces icing because it allows the snow to simply slide off. This leads to a drastic reduction in weight during use up to 20 - 30%. Thanks to the lighter skis, long and steep assents can be better managed.
Full Titanal
The titanium setup makes the ski agile and dynamic. Especially friends of a hard, fast and aggressive riding style benefit from the quick response of this construction.
Marker WorldCup Plate
High-speed racing like the pros. Thanks to Piston Control, an integrated hydraulic oil piston, even the smallest bit of energy is converted into speed. Of course the interface is compatible with the Race X-cell bindings.
Tip Rocker
Only bends upwards in the shovel area, while the middle and tail of the ski feature a camber shape.
