Skiers who focus more on skiing fun than on highly athletic performance are exactly right in this ski category. Because the Allround models are light, agile, smooth-running and energy-saving. The comfort models are not only pleasant to ride, but also convince with their unbeatable price-performance ratio.
Forgiving all-rounder
Those who want to enjoy a day of skiing from morning to evening without unnecessarily straining their energy reserves will find the right skis among the all-rounders. The versatile models are true lightweights and even as mid-range skis they still offer a high level of turnability and smoothness. Compared to the sporty high-performance models, however, they are less aggressive and more forgiving. This makes them ideal for skiing beginners, occasional skiers and pleasure skiers.
The new models were tested at the 2021 WorldSkitest on the Mölltal Glacier. The consistently "very good" test results show that the all-round models should not be underestimated either. The field is so close together that there are even two test winners this year.
Target group: beginners, pleasure skiers, moderately athletic skiers
Test winner: Salomon S/Max 8
One of the two test winners in the Men Allround category is the S/Max 8 from Salomon. Like the Rossignol ski, it achieves 39.6 points and thus the overall rating "very good". The Salomon is particularly convincing in long carving turns and edge grip. The women's version of the ski was also convincing in their Allround category.
