Love of nature is always a part of ski touring. That’s why the Spanish brand Ternua goes the extra mile when it comes to sustainability, which is also reflected in its Adrenalite ski touring collection for winter. We take a closer look at the environmentally friendly range.
Ternua: sustainability you can wear
Environmentally friendly production is the basis of all collections at Ternua. The brand is always looking for new ways to further optimise its outdoor clothing without sacrificing functionality, comfort or durability.
Ternua weaves fishing nets into yarn or uses walnut and chestnut shells for dyes. The use of recycled materials in production is crucial in order to create a circular economy that primarily utilises existing resources and produces as little waste as possible.
The Adrenalite collection for ski touring and powder adventures of all kinds is also based on these sustainable principles.
Adrenalite: compact, lightweight & breathable
The sustainable Adrenalite series exists for both summer and winter. The name already reveals the first characteristics of the garments: They are very light and designed for adrenaline-fuelled activities.
In the Adrenalite winter collection, you will find everything you need for your tours: Jackets, trousers, mid-layers and even overalls such as the Blackcomb Suit. Each item is characterised by warming and breathable qualities and has practical functions.
For example, the Blackcomb Suit has two inside pockets in the chest area for avalanche beepers and reinforcements on the shoulder and inside leg.
If you're not a fan of full-body suits, you can also opt for a classic combination of jacket and trousers with Adrenalite. The items in the collection can be freely mixed and matched. Or you can opt for sets, such as a Race Jacket plus Race PT trousers.
What all the items in the collection have in common is sustainability. They are made from recycled nylon from fishing nets or yarn made from plastic bottles.
This way you can conquer the mountains and enjoy nature with a clear conscience.
