Not only the brand Atomic itself, but also athletes like Marcel Hirscher, Marco Schwarz or Mikaela Shiffrin are on the road to success with Atomic skis. The company was founded in 1955 in Wagrain, Austria. The first ski produced by Atomic was named SL1, which can still be found in the manufacturer's racing series today.

Since 2007 Kästle is back with new investors and develops new construction technologies from racing for the allmountain sector.

The factory of the Lower Bavarian ski brand Völkl in Straubing is one of the most modern ski factories in the world. Skis have been made here since 1923, including the legendary Zebra Ski, which became a hit in 1967. In 1994, Völkl was a pioneer in carving skis: at the ISPO, Völkl introduced the Snow Ranger with its deep sidecuts and revolutionized the ski world.
The Swiss brand Stöckli looks back on more than 80 years of history. Ski from France, Italy and Slovenia
The company Salomon comes from the South of France and today belongs to the Finnish Amer Sports Group. In the 60s, founder Georges Salomon invented the ski binding with automatic release.
Another French manufacturer is Rossignol. The history of the manufacturer goes back to the year 1907. The Rossignol Group also owns the French ski brand Dynastar, which emerged in 1963 from the merger of the two manufacturers Starflex and Dynamic.
The producer Elan is from Slovenia. With ski legend Ingemar Stenmark, the ski brand became world-famous in the 70s. Again and again Elan attracts attention with new innovations, such as the combined camber and rocker technique in one ski.
