The Cross-Country Area
More than 90 km of cross-country trails await you in the cross-country skiing centre Westfeld/Ohlenbach. The cross-country skiing area thus offers a large selection of cross-country ski runs at all levels of difficulty. Apart from the two competition tracks in the snowpark, all cross-country ski runs are prepared for the classic style, but around half of the tours are also designed for skating.
The 18 cross-country ski runs are interconnected by numerous connecting cross-country ski runs, so that all routes are connected to each other. In addition, there are connections to the cross-country ski runs of Altastenberg, Neuastenberg/Lenneplätze and Winterberg, which also belong to the Nordic Sports Arena Sauerland.
Snowpark Westfeld
In the cross-country skiing centre in Westfeld, classic cross-country skiers will find an easy and a medium-difficult stadium round, while for sporty skiers there is a medium and a difficult skating competition course. If there is a shortage of snow, the seven kilometres of trails can be covered with artificial snow. There is also the possibility of floodlit cross-country skiing on Wednesdays and Fridays from 18:00 to 20:00.
The Nordicsport-Arena Sauerland cross-country ski pass is not valid for the cross-country ski runs in the cross-country stadium. But with a season ticket you get a discount on the day ticket. The ski school offers courses in classical and skating techniques for beginners and advanced skiers. If you don't have your own cross-country skiing equipment, you can borrow everything you need on the spot.

Dining along the Tracks
In the Snowpark Westfeld a rustic ski hut invites you to stop for a bite to eat. Drinks and snacks are offered in a cosy atmosphere. Showers and changing rooms are also available.
Getting Here
From the A46 take the exit Meschede and follow the B55 until Bremke. There you turn left onto the B511 and follow it towards Schmallenberg to Gleidorf. Here you turn left onto the B236 to Oberkirchen, where you turn left again and drive along the Lenne to Westfeld. Free parking is available at Snowpark Westfeld, Hohen Knochen near Ohlenbach, Nordenau and Nesselbach.
