Does it always have to be the largest and most popular ski resorts to spend the winter vacation at? We definitely say no! If you can abstain from big and loud apres ski parties and if 43 km of not too difficult slopes are enough for you, Galtür is the perfect destination. There a snow park concept that is unique in Europe awaits you. The lift facilities are predominantly state of the art and waiting lines are pretty much inexistent. So it certainly doesn't bother if the party fans and piste cracks stay in Ischgl, ten kilometres away. We can recommend especially famlies with small kids to visit Galtür at the head of the Paznaun. The six varied sectors bring fun for the whole family! For this clientele there is no better ski resort in the immediate vicinity than Galtür, one of the last places in Austria where skiing and unspoilt mountain scenery are combined.
