A one-day lift pass for Nozawa Onsen costs ¥4,800 (roughly € 39, correct as of 2016/17 season) which makes it a good-value option in an international comparison. Within its Japanese peer group, Nozawa Onsen is standardly priced, and offers good value for money given its large size in Japanese terms. The lift operators also offer dedicated morning or afternoon tickets for ¥ 3,700 (roughly € 30) which is a bonus if you are short on time.
Attractive food pack offer
Pre-school children ski for free when accompanied by adults and the resort has regular family days throughout the season offering substantial discounts for families. One unique offer is the “food pack” ticket. For ¥ 5,300 (€ 43), adults receive a one-day lift pass and a food voucher worth ¥ 1,000 (usually enough for a main course) for spending at one of the many on-mountain eateries scattered across the resort.
