With only one difficult (black) slope, Schladming at a first glance might seem somewhat dull to expert skiers. However, several of the intermediate runs are pretty demanding, so that even very skilled skiers should find their challenge there (e.g. The “FIS Abfahrt 3”). Certainly a plus feature are the bump runs which cater to pro-riders and their need to test their skills! A further advantage is the option to switch over to neighboring mountains via the existing ski area interconnections and check out the slopes there. Only downer to be mention in this context is the lack of “training-only” areas. Despite the missing difficult black slopes, very skilled skiers can spend some great hours on Schladming's slopes!
