You don’t have to be a genius to guess the result of our last test category. It’s clear that Serfaus Fiss Ladis has put a great deal of thought into the range of gastronomy available on the mountain. Over 30 ski lodges and restaurants are spread over the entire ski area. From large self-service restaurants to cosy traditional huts – Serfaus Fiss Ladis has something for everyone. It is not particularly easy to highlight one establishment in this case. On the Serfaus side, the Ski Lounge certainly stands out. This glass-clad ski lodge allows guests to enjoy international culinary delights at around 2,000 m above sea level. One special highlight of a ski holiday in Serfaus is the “Adventure Night” every Wednesday during the ski season. This is an opportunity to enjoy some excellent food and drink in the Ski Lounge while taking in a breath-taking show on the illuminated nearby demonstration run. The Masner Skihütte boasts a huge sun deck with amazing views, making it the perfect place to catch some rays. On the Fiss north side, the Zirbenhütte serves all manner of Tyrolean delights served in various cosy rooms. There are also several inviting, down-to-earth mountain huts that come highly recommended, like the Schöngampalp in Fiss and Lassida in Serfaus. As we mentioned in the “families” category, the ski area has also clearly given some thought to what would appeal to kids. At the Kinderschneealm and Bertas Kinderland, there are even restaurants specifically tailored to the needs of youngsters.
