When Serfaus Fiss Ladis does something, it does it properly. This quickly becomes clear in our “service” category, which takes into account numerous factors. Let’s start with run grooming. It goes without saying that nowadays we always expect immaculately prepared runs. Nevertheless, it has to be said that the grooming team here is particularly meticulous about keeping the slopes in outstanding shape. At night, the bright lights of the groomers are clear to see working diligently in the darkness above Serfaus and Fiss. In addition to the high level of grooming, the modern standard and comfort of the lifts is also important. Serfaus Fiss Ladis receives full marks from us in this respect, too. The ski area almost exclusively has modern chair lifts and gondolas across the mountain. There are no old surface lifts or fixed chair lifts in sight. In our tests we also always found the lift personnel to be very friendly and helpful. The lifts, lodges, kids’ parks and terrain parks are intelligently distributed throughout the ski area. The trail marking and signposting is also particularly impressive, and you’d have to try very hard to get lost here.
But Serfaus Fiss Ladis doesn’t only shine up on the mountain. There are also huge ski depots in Fiss and Serfaus. This means that you can comfortably make your way to the slopes in your normal footwear and then deposit your skiing equipment here again at the end of the day. Your boots are also heated and therefore dry out – say goodbye to putting on wet boots in the morning! There are also plenty of ski shops and rental stations in the valley and even around the ski area – you never have to walk any great distances. As a result, we can only give the ski area the maximum 10 points in this category. Serfaus Fiss Ladis certainly sets the bar high when it comes to service.
