The typical après-ski feeling can only be found in Austrian ski resorts, but even here there are only a handful of locations where party atmosphere is the order of the day from midday until early in the morning. Sölden is undoubtedly one of these places. During the day, numerous rustic huts, such as the "Hühnersteign" in the Rettenbachtal or the "Gampe Thaya" on the descent from the direction of the Giggijoch to the toll station, provide skiers with delicacies and drinks. At almost all après-ski huts, loud music is already playing during the day and there is a great atmosphere.
A nice address to end the ski day is the Rotkogelhütte. Here, in addition to the umbrella bar with party music, there are also comfortable deck chairs, sun until late afternoon and a fantastic view of the Rettenbach glacier. You can also ski down from there to Hochsölden and on to the Giggijoch valley station as well as to the Gaislachkogl valley station.
The last station before the Gaislachkogl valley is the "Philipp" above Sölden in Innerwald. Here things are usually already pretty wild. The advantage: You can treat yourself to two or three beers here - because you can also take the funicular back to the valley. Unlike in other ski resorts, the party really gets going here after the lifts close. Just stroll down the long main street and you'll find plenty of opportunities to party on.
There are also regularly big events like the Electric Mountain Festival or Hannibal.
