Sun Peaks Keeps on Springing Surprises

Unlike many other Canadian ski resorts, Sun Peaks keeps springing surprises by featuring après-ski-hotspots – but still, it is relatively quiet when it comes to nightlife events or nights out. The Umbrella Café and Bottoms Bar & Grill are popular with fans of après-ski.

The Umbrella Café is located at the foot of Mt. Morrisey right next to the base station of Morrisey Express. No matter if you fancy a cold beer or a hot toddy, if you crave hot chili or soups: the café does not disappoint. Bottoms Bar & Grill is all about pub scene: Drink specials that change on a daily basis make this lively après bar a nice spot to stop by for a pint or two. Morrisey Public House is a go-to for lovers of brews and Irish pub atmosphere.

Main Target Group: Families

It goes without saying that only three „nightlife“ options do not make for an unforgettable après ski experience. Sun Peaks focus lies on families; hence, it offers several cafés and bars where to have a chat with friends and family, to enjoy delicious fare and drinks – in more settled places. So, verdict is in: Party nights a Sun Peaks have always been quite rare, which means the ski resort is not exactly the mecca of après-ski.
