Thredbo – Australia`s best resort for very skilled skiers
Thredbo ski resort is certainly the most demanding in Australia. No other Australian ski resort can compete with Thredbos very long and steep runs. Even though 67% percent of the trails are of intermediate level there is still enough difficult terrain to be found at Thredbo. We recommend experts to access the area between Kosciuszko Express and Ramshead Chairlift as the majority of the black runs are located there. Those who want to plunge into deep snow off pist should ski the golf course bowl. The “golf course bowl exit run” will then take the experts back to the groomed terrain. Steeps lovers should definitely not miss the long black run “The Funnel Web”. If this one still`s not challenging enough the two race courses situated at the “World Cup” and “Bunny Walks” slope will really let you test your skills. Expert skiers will certainly also enjoy the broad intermediate runs which are ideal carving terrain of course. Another advantage is that the ski resort Perisher Blue is only an hour drive away.
