La Tzoumaz makes families feel right at home!
Whereas Verbier is known among snowboarders and freeriders for its difficult runs and great off-piste, La Tzoumaz for its part caters more to families with small children. The learning is fun in the Baby-Bar at the base terminal of the double chair lift, Les Etablons. In the center of La Tzoumaz is also a small ice skating rink for kids and a little park with swings and a slide. And, of course, there's always the option of signing the little ones up for lessons with the ski school. We can also recommend taking a 10km-long sled-ride down over 800 meters in elevation from Savoleyres to La Tzoumaz. And we cannot emphasize enough that if your children are still fairly new to skiing, and you plan on attempting the steeper runs higher up the mountain in Verbier, please do NOT take your children with you.
