Ankogel Mallnitz may not be one of Austria’s famed après-ski meccas, but you certainly won’t have any trouble finding somewhere to finish off your day on the mountain with a bang. The round wooden après-ski hut, Schi-Circus, known to its owners as “the indispensible institution at the foot of Ankogel", is the perfect place to cap off your night. If it’s a cozy place to have dinner in front of a fireplace that you’re looking for, we recommend checking out Albers Almstube in Mallnitz. But hardcore partiers won’t exactly be blown away by the scene in Mallnitz.
