A large amount of easy slopes guarantee a fun and convenient access to winter sports!
A first glance at the trail map reveals that the majority of Bad Gastein ski resort is skiable on easy terrain. Only few gentle slopes require that more difficult terrain must be crossed. Winter athletes who have no skiing experience at all are recommended to begin their snow sports career at the “Skizentrum Angertal” where numerous beginner lifts are located as well as the kidspark featuring several magic carpet lifts. Once ski basics are mastered you can choose between the Kaserebenbahn (gondola) or the Angertal chair lift which take you in no time at all to the easy (blue) slopes B21 and H31). Also recommendable novice terrain are the blue B14 right by the Stubnerkogel gondola. And don’t worry, if the easy slopes give in before your legs do, just switch onto one of the intermediate slopes which are adjacent to every blue slope in that area. We conclude: a very nice novice ski resort!
