Review Bad Gastein - Bad Hofgastein: Average Snow Conditions

Located between 860 and 2,300 meters, Gastein is certainly not one of the highest ski resorts in Austria. Nevertheless, the season here usually runs from late November/early December until April. Around 800 snow cannons provide the necessary snow. More than 55 hectares can be covered with snow here, which is about 85% of the slopes. The snow-making facilities are continuously being expanded and modernized. This also includes large storage ponds.
