Bad Kleinkirchheim is certainly not an easy area. Only 18 of 103 kilometers of slopes are assigned to the "blue" category. However, these are mostly not real, long blue pistes, but more like connecting trails or practice areas. At the base stations of the Brunnach gondola, Kaiserburg gondola and Maibrunn chairlift there are practice areas with magic carpets and practice lifts.
Those who already dare to go up the mountain should stay around the top station of the Nockalm lift. Here you can find the blue slopes 15 and 18, where you can improve your skiing skills. If you want to go back down to the base from there, you can also try the downhill run to the lower station as a beginner with run no.17. However, this slope is more of a hollow way than a full blue slope.
Generally speaking, longer blue runs that would be easy enough for beginners are hard to find in Bad Kleinkirchheim. Those who already feel a bit more confident on skis can try the red runs 1T and 16. So in Bad Kleinkirchheim, apart from the first-class practice areas, there is rather little practice available for beginners.
