Although beginners can practice their first turns on the snow in the practice areas in the base areas, beyond that there are only practice slopes in the area around the Nockalmbahn upper station. The enormous selection of red runs will not let you get bored here on a multi-day vacation in Bad Kleinkirchheim. For professionals, speed measurement runs, ski route number 6 and the Franz-Klammer downhill run are of interest.
Snowboarders will find a fun park at Strohsack and can comfortably ski through the entire ski area with gondolas and chairlifts. Families have the choice of many practice areas and ski schools for their children. Only for families with children who dare to make the transition from the practice area to normal slopes, the entry could be rather difficult due to the amount of red slopes.

The ski area is not the highest with a location of 1100 to 2055 meters in altitude, but can make up for this shortcoming with an almost area-wide snowmaking.
